What runs today, and what does not

The lookup above works on the whole register and is the product as it stands. Everything under Roadmap is written down, not built — none of it runs.

Working now

  • Name lookup across 20,736 red list entries, partial names included.
  • Per-alert and per-country pages built from the same mirror, each with its own filter.
  • Watch request recorded against an e-mail address and a supplier name.
  • Daily refresh: the register is re-read every morning and compared with the previous day, so an addition or removal is caught the day it happens.
  • The alert e-mail. When a watched name is added to or removed from a firm list, the change goes out the same morning.

When this is the wrong tool

  • You need clearance for a shipment already at the port. This is a copy of a public register, not a customs broker. Call the broker.
  • Your supplier is domestic. Import alerts cover foreign establishments shipping into the United States. A US factory will never appear here.
  • You need proof a firm was removed from an alert. That lives on the green lists, which this copy does not parse. A clear answer here is silence, not evidence of removal.
  • You want the register minute by minute. The copy is re-read once a morning, and this one is from 30 August 2026. For anything time-critical, read the FDA page itself.

Questions

What does it mean that my supplier is on a red list?

The firm appears in the list of firms subject to detention without physical examination under that import alert. FDA may detain future shipments at the port without testing them, and they stay detained until the importer overcomes the appearance of the violation. The FDA page for the alert sets out what evidence is accepted.

Where does the data come from?

From the import alert pages published at accessdata.fda.gov/cms_ia/. This copy holds the 108 alerts that carry a firm list, out of 153 published in total, and 20,736 firm entries covering 169 countries. The copy was taken on 30 August 2026; the newest entry inside it is dated 28 August 2026.

Why not just use the FDA search?

FDA search answers one question at a time about the register as it stands today. It does not tell you that a firm sits on ten alerts at once, how long it has been listed, or that it was added last week. It also cannot tell you tomorrow.

My factory is not listed. Is the shipment safe?

It means the name is absent from the firm lists in this copy of the register on the mirror date shown. Import alerts also apply by country and by product without naming a firm, and FDA can refuse an entry for reasons unrelated to any alert. Treat a clear answer as one input, not as clearance.

How often does the copy refresh?

Once every morning. The whole register is re-read, compared with the previous day, and the date of the copy is printed on every page — this one is from 30 August 2026. If a firm you watch is added or removed, the e-mail goes out the same morning.
