Who is responsible

Looking up a supplier

A lookup is not stored. The name you type is sent to our server, matched against the copy of the FDA register and returned. It is not written to a database, not attached to you and not passed to anyone.

Asking for alerts

If you submit the watch form, we store the e-mail address you gave, the supplier name you want watched, the page you submitted from, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash is used only to limit how many submissions one address can make in an hour; the IP itself is not kept.

Legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You may withdraw it at any time by replying to any message from us or writing to the address above; we then delete the record.

Records are kept until you withdraw consent, or for 24 months after the last message we send you, whichever comes first.

Who else processes it

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, database and the anti-spam check on the form. The anti-spam script loads only when you touch the form.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — storage of the address and sending of alert e-mails.

Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising. There is no advertising network, analytics tag or social plugin on this site.

Cookies

The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. One entry in your browser storage records that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again. The anti-spam check sets its own cookie once you interact with the form; without it the form cannot tell a person from a script.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee). Write to info@importalertwatch.com and we answer within one month.
